C&B was proud to participate in the first annual Skill UP event, held at the Boone Campus of Gateway Community & Technical Institute. This dynamic, industry-led career exploration experience was created to introduce middle school students across Northern Kentucky to meaningful opportunities in the skilled trades.

Skill UP, catalyzed by Trades NKY and produced by ACI, brought together educators, industry leaders, and community partners to deliver a large-scale, interactive event designed to spark curiosity and awareness about essential career pathways. Through hands-on activities and direct engagement with professionals, students were able to explore a variety of trades in an engaging and impactful way.

The event welcomed nearly 1,200 students, making it a powerful platform to inspire the next generation of the workforce. C&B was excited to be part of this collaborative effort to promote career exploration and highlight the value of skilled trades in today’s economy.
