Members of the Carlisle & Bray team recently attended the Inland Marine Expo (IMX) 2026 in Nashville, Tennessee, joining industry leaders from across the inland waterways sector for several days of networking, education, and collaboration.

IMX is one of the premier events in the inland marine transportation industry, bringing together operators, suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities impacting America’s waterways.

The conference provided valuable opportunities to connect with industry partners, share ideas, and gain insights into the future of inland marine transportation. From educational sessions and exhibits to networking events and industry recognition ceremonies, IMX continues to be an important gathering for professionals dedicated to keeping America’s waterways moving.

This year’s event was especially meaningful for Carlisle & Bray as we celebrated Randal Lapikas’s being named a recipient of The Waterways Journal’s 2026 40 Under 40 Award, which recognizes emerging leaders helping shape the future of the industry.
